Meet 7-year-old Joshua Santee, one of our shining young volunteers! For over 3 years, Joshua has been a dedicated part of Friends Hairston Park’s volunteer family, alongside his grandmother, Germaine Rumph, through the Kingdom Life Christian Center Outreach Ministry. He helps keep the park clean by picking up litter, moving mulch on volunteer workdays and participating in events at Hairston Park. He is energic, committed and always brings a smile and a positive spirit.  

Joshua shows a level of responsibility and leadership beyond his years. “He is always offering to help at home and church,” says his grandmother. When he’s not volunteering, he enjoys soccer, video games, reading, and seafood.
